The field team that defeated the unbeatable governor.
My first time getting involved in politics was as a field organizer in 2018. Without knowing what “GOTV” meant, I organized a total of 11 neighborhood teams across the space of 7 months, boosting turnout across my turf and eventually helping to elect Gov. Tony Evers.
Some statistics.
Ran a staging location for a July special election
Ran staging locations across Dane and Rock counties from a boiler room during the October dry run weekends
Established three new neighborhood action teams
Achieved 92.9% turnout across the city of Madison
Increased Democratic turnout in my turf by 22% from the prior midterm elections
Increased Democratic turnout in my turf by 2% from the 2016 Presidential elections
