Congresswoman Elaine Luria.

Served as a press intern in the office of Congresswoman Elaine Luria (VA-02) under the guidance of Chris Carroll, Communications Director.

During my first internship on the Hill, drafted and edited 4 speeches, 11 press releases, 6 newsletters, 7 interview briefing memos, 2 responses to reporters, 3 constituent letters, 1 survey, and 59 tweets.

Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney.

Served as a press/digital intern in the office of Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) under the guidance of Libby Wilcox, Digital Director, and Aaron White, Communications Director.

Produced graphics, including impeachment-related videos which helped to increase the Congressman’s Twitter following from under 45,000 to 100,000 over four days. Drafted and edited press releases, newsletters, surveys, one-pagers, and interview briefings. Assembled daily press clips and briefing binders for the Congressman and Chief of Staff.

House Majority Leader’s Office.

Served as a digital fellow in the House Majority Leader’s Office where I assisted both with the operations of the HMLO as well as the Judiciary Committee’s rapid response team during the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump. I served under the guidance of Steve Dwyer, Senior Advisor to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, and Jessica Presley, Director of Digital Strategy for the House Judiciary Committee.

Worked with the press and legislative teams to translate legislation into digital content, including graphics, GIFs, mailers, one-pagers, and videos. Assisted in a joint effort among the Office of the Majority Leader, Office of the Speaker, Committee on the Judiciary, and Democratic Caucus to produce a rapid response digital campaign and synthesized multi-day hearings into consumable digital content.
